Peterson sponsors Sail Den Helder – Tall ship races in The Netherlands

The Tall Ships Races series dates to 1956 and is a popular event held across various ports each year, bringing thousands of people together to encourage international friendship and training for young people. This year’s event is combined with the Sail Den Helder and Navy Days, offering attendees an exciting program of events.

The international logistics company employs 170 staff members in Den Helder and has a strong track record of supporting major energy projects in the region.

More recently, Peterson Energy Logistics was involved in the installation of the transformation platform for Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm, which is expected to generate enough renewable power to supply more than one million Dutch homes with green electricity, and a key part of the country’s plans to support the energy transition.

Energy Logistics has an ambitious sustainability roadmap and is certified as carbon neutral under the PAS 2060 accreditation scheme with plans to reach net zero by 2025.
