Shipping Materials Controller
We have a vacancy for Shipping Materials Controller, the function of which is to act as Focal Point for all outbound cargo for Peterson (UK) Ltd clients and vessels. Responsibilities include communicating with the customer on all cargo operations, ascertaining designated material and cargo requirements for next sailing, and ensuring planning targets can be met and advising of any potential issues/delays.
The candidate should have a background in a shipping and logistics environment and experience in cargo operations and supply chain logistics. Good working knowledge of MS Office packages is required and an understanding of Peterson E-cargo systems is preferred, however, training will be given if required.
